Our Voices Our Stories serves people impacted by the criminal legal system by creating events and convenings featuring their stories presented through film, theater, writing and speaking engagements.

Engaging the voices of those directly impacted by the criminal legal system educates communities and builds actions toward racial healing, restorative justice and resourcing for communities to thrive. 

Bringing together audiences in communities across the country and globally, Our Voices Our Stories ensures platforms for the truth narratives, journeys, and transformative work created by formerly incarcerated people and their families through their voices.  

In addition to providing promotion of one’s personal narratives, Our Voices Our Stories can assist in preparation of the narrative, including editing of manuscripts, development of public speaking skills and facilitation skills for directly impacted people, and creation of film/video projects. Our goal is to provide the tools that support your strongest voice, your story to be impactful and the audience to learn and activate as a result of hearing your story in your voice.
